How to Partition Your Hard Drive

Now, I want to tell you how to partition your hard drive using Windows XP interface. Please read this following step :

Step 1   : Right click on My Computer icon, and then choose Manage


Step 2   : Click on Disk Management


Step 3   : Right-click an unallocated region of a basic disk, and then click New Partition


Step 4   : In the New Partition Wizard, click Next, click Primary Partition. And then click Next


Step 5   : Change the available space with the the partition size that you want to be created. And then click Next


Step 6   : In the Assign Drive Letter or Path dialog box you can directly click Next again

Step 7   : Keep the format default setting in the Format Partition dialog box and then directly click Next again

Step 8   : Click Finish button

Step 9   : Wait until formatting complete and change into Healthy in the Status row

Step 10 : Click exit button to exit the Computer Management window.
